Joccoaa Lee - Favourite Cambodia Memory

To be honest, this whole experience of being in Cambodia has been amazing. There are a few things that stick in my brain whenever I think of it and they are things that I will never ever forget. One of the very first things that pops into my head is when we went to the S21 prison and The Killing Fields. That day I will never ever forget. The amount of pain and destruction that the people of Cambodia have been through to be where they are today and to be as happy as they are no matter what situation they are in astonishes me and is mind blowing. Seeing this has given me an appreciation for everything that I have back home and has made me love this beautiful country and their gorgeous people even more! Another thing that comes to mind is being able to meet and interact with the kids. They are always happy to say hello and find a way to talk to you even if they can't understand your language. I will never forget my time in Cambodia and hope to return in the future :)
